Refugee Health Initiative – Interest Meeting Jan 16

Are you interested in volunteering with local refugee populations? Then Refugee Health Initiative at NC State is for you!

The purpose of this organization is to advocate and serve as a liaison for newly arrived refugee communities in the triangle by establishing a medical home for the families. It also works to educate them on patient’s rights, public assistance, and basic health concerns. The organization aims to raise awareness within the NC State community about these populations.

We are having our first general body/interest meeting of 2019! Come learn more about how you can make an impact in your community and on campus!

When: January 16th, at 7:00 pm Where: D.H. Hill, Room 1145 (located on the first floor) Pizza will be provided!!!
