The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia has several options for graduate programs of study in the area of developmental biology.
The Developmental Biology Alliance for Integrative Research (http://devbio.uga.edu/) provides a framework for interdisciplinary research and graduate training across departments, in research areas including organogenesis and tissue engineering, evolutionary developmental biology, and developmental mechanisms and aging. Our faculty work in a diversity of model and non-model organisms, and use a wide range of state-of-the-art approaches including genetics, genomics, cell biology, biochemistry, and high-resolution imaging.
Opportunities include multiple department-based degree programs, all of which can be accessed through the Integrative Life Sciences (ILS) umbrella admissions program. Please visit the DevBio@UGA website (http://ils.uga.edu/) for information about our faculty, links to these graduate program descriptions, and a link to the ILS admissions program website.
